Nervous System Regulation Training for the Workplace

The Calm Coach’s mission is to give every UK school, every pupil and every member of staff, free access to nervous system regulation tools. That mission is funded, in part, by organisations who choose to support it.

When your organisation contributes to The Calm Coach, you’re helping fund free programmes for schools across the country. AAs our thank you, your team receives full access to our six-week corporate stress management programme, the same one that laid the foundation for everything The Calm Coach has grown into.

You choose the amount that feels right for your organisation to donate.

What’s Included?

Six weekly sessions, around 20 minutes each, delivered as pre-recorded video. Each session combines a short, accessible piece of nervous system science with a guided practice, designed to be watched at a desk, in work clothes, with no prior experience of breathwork or mindfulness needed.

Week 1 — Understanding Your Nervous System: Colleagues learn why the body can’t tell a genuine threat from a stressful email, and are introduced to the Window of Tolerance, the zone where they can think clearly and stay resourced. Heart breathing is taught as the anchor practice, the one tool every session will return to from here on.

Week 2 — Completing the Stress Cycle: Colleagues learn why composure held together through a difficult meeting still has a cost, and why stress that’s never physically released can stay stuck in the body. Shake and Sigh is introduced as a way to complete that cycle, alongside why our ancestors’ instinct to move after danger still applies to us.

Week 3 — The Power of Connection: Colleagues learn the three types of regulation, self, co-, and social, and how one calm or one dysregulated person can shift the tone of an entire room. The Self-Hold is introduced as a discreet technique for the moments before or during a difficult conversation, alongside “connect before you redirect.”

Week 4 — The Wandering Mind: Colleagues learn why the mind ruminates and replays, even hours after the working day ends, and that noticing a thought is different from believing it. Sensory Anchoring, two quick, unnoticeable techniques, gives them a way to interrupt that spiral, in a meeting, before a call, or at a desk.

Week 5 — Rewiring: Colleagues learn Hebb’s Law, that repeated patterns become automatic, and that new ones can be built alongside the old, plus honest guidance on timing, real shifts tend to take a few weeks of consistent practice. A body scan becomes their tool for noticing tension earlier, before it builds into something bigger.

Week 6 — Your Body Has Been Keeping Score: In the final session, colleagues learn that the body can carry stress long after the moment that caused it has passed, and are introduced to interoception, the skill of reading the body’s signals before they build into something bigger. The physiological sigh is introduced as one last tool, and the programme closes by bringing the full six-week toolkit together.

Built With Every Member of Your Team in Mind

Every nervous system is different, and that’s especially true for neurodivergent colleagues, who may experience workplace stress, sensory input and regulation in their own particular way. Heart breathing, the anchor practice used throughout this programme, is a genuinely accessible tool for this. It requires no talking and no cognitive processing, just a hand on the heart and a slow breath, so it works quietly at a desk regardless of whether someone finds verbal or cognitive approaches to stress management easy, difficult, or simply not how they’re wired. It’s a genuinely inclusive tool for a genuinely mixed team.

Why It’s Here

This work started in the workplace, and I still believe organisations have a genuine part to play in supporting their people’s nervous systems, not just their output.

The Calm Coach’s real mission now sits with schools, giving children, staff and families the self-regulation skills we were never taught, completely free. Your organisation’s support is one of the ways that mission is funded and continues to grow, and in return, your own team gets genuine, lasting value from the very programme that started this work.

This isn’t a free giveaway. It’s a genuine exchange, your support for our schools work, and a fully built six-week programme for your people.
