Hi, I’m Victoria Willis
The Calm Coach
I am a corporate wellbeing specialist who helps forward-thinking organisations to reduce burnout, cut absenteeism and boost productivity by training their teams’ nervous systems to handle stress and perform under pressure.
Here’s the problem: The nervous system works like a muscle – it needs regular practice to show results. Yet most workplace solutions rely on self-motivation – An app that nobody opens or a one-off workshop that brings no lasting change. Meanwhile, stress silently spreads through your team, burnout quietly erodes your bottom line, and employees mistake distraction for regulation.
Here’s the solution: In my 8-week programme, I show up live (on Teams) every week for focused 20-minute sessions that fit seamlessly into the workday – even at desks. Through guided practices, there’s no reliance on willpower – just evidence-based coherence, breathwork and somatic techniques your teams experience together, along with practical self-help tools they can use whenever needed.
When employees build genuine resilience, capacity and regulation through consistent practice, you’ll see improved retention, engagement and productivity. If you’re ready to invest in sustainable corporate wellbeing that protects your talent and your business outcomes, let’s talk.

Benefits To Employees
- Genuine calm, not just distraction: Authentic wellbeing that comes from reconnecting with their body’s natural stress response – not numbing out with screens or quick fixes.
- Immediate, practical tools: Techniques they can use at their desk to shift from overwhelm to calm within minutes, then take into their daily lives.
- Better sleep and recovery: Regular nervous system regulation improves rest quality, leaving them genuinely refreshed and able to sustain energy throughout the week.
- Increased resilience under pressure: Heart coherence techniques that train their stress response to recover faster, so challenges feel manageable rather than overwhelming.
- Enhanced focus and decision-making: When the nervous system is regulated, mental clarity improves – unlocking sharper thinking, better problem-solving and creative flow.
- Skills that last a lifetime: These aren’t temporary fixes. Employees build capacity they’ll use for life, staying calmer and more balanced in all areas.
- Consistent support, not self-motivation: Live weekly sessions mean they show up, experience the benefits together, and build the habit without relying on willpower alone.
- Safe, trauma-sensitive practice: Tailored to meet people exactly where they are, helping them reconnect with what feels good in their bodies without pressure or performance.
Coherence
Harness the scientifically backed power of heart coherence techniques to regulate stress, improve focus, and build emotional resilience. It helps to reset your nervous system, increase resilience, reduce overwhelm and improve focus.
Breathwork
Regulation
Simple, practical somatic techniques that shift your body from stress to calm in real-time. Experience them live, then take away a 2-5 minute daily practice to train your nervous system’s capacity – building resilience that works anywhere, anytime.
Education
Clear, practical insight into why these techniques work and what’s happening in your body. Scaffolded week by week, this education transforms techniques from “something I’m told to do” into tools you trust and use independently.
Corporate Wellbeing
Most of us have lost the ability to truly be with ourselves and listen to what our bodies are telling us. We have thousands of free meditations at our fingertips, yet we rarely make the time to pause – perhaps because, on some level, we’re scared to feel what lies beneath. Instead, we convince ourselves that scrolling through our phones or switching on the TV is relaxation. It isn’t. It’s numbing – a distraction that pulls us further away from genuine calm, balance and presence.
Here’s what most corporate wellness programmes miss: your nervous system works like a muscle. One yoga class or quarterly meditation session won’t build lasting resilience any more than one gym visit builds fitness. Just as you wouldn’t expect to run a marathon without consistent training, you can’t expect to handle high-pressure environments without regularly training your stress response system. It requires consistent, deliberate practice to build the capacity and resilience needed to stay calm under pressure.
Working as a teaching assistant, I witnessed how children are encouraged to process everything through their minds, gradually disconnecting them from their intuition and their natural ability to regulate stress. When I introduced breathwork and somatic practices as a regular weekly practice, the transformation was remarkable – not just in behaviour, but in a deeper sense of ease and happiness. That experience showed me something vital: we all need to relearn what we’ve lost, and we need regular practice to rebuild it.
Today, through The Calm Coach, I bring that understanding into the world of corporate wellbeing. I help professionals and teams reconnect with their body’s innate wisdom and restore the calm that modern work often erodes. Using heart coherence, breathwork and tailored nervous system regulation techniques, I guide you beyond constant thinking and talking, into a space of genuine feeling and embodied awareness. Through weekly practice, you train your nervous system to respond rather than react. When we calm the body, the mind follows. When we practice interoception – truly sensing what’s happening inside us – we become not only calmer and happier, but also more focused, creative and productive.
Employee Resilience
The Problem
- UK employers lose £51 billion annually to poor mental health (Deloitte, 2024)
- Presenteeism costs 2-3x more than absenteeism (Centre for Mental Health)
- 95% of mental health apps fail due to lack of accountability (JMIR, 2019)
- Traditional reactive employee assistance programmes are only used by 5-10% of employees (Employee Benefits)
The Science
- Nervous system regulation (via breathing, movement, interoception) reduces stress by 46% and improves decision-making by 24% (McCraty et al., 2014)
- Neuroplasticity allows new habits to form with consistent practice (Lally et al., 2010)
- Physiological sighing (double inhale + extended exhale) is the fastest evidence-based technique for stress reduction (Stanford, 2023)
- Interoceptive awareness (body sensing) correlates with better decision-making and career longevity (Dunn et al., 2010)
Return on Investment
- Every £1 spent on mental health returns £5 in productivity gains (Tomorrow’s Health & Safety)
- Proactive skills training outperforms reactive support (WHO, 2022)
- Mental health apps have very low ongoing engagement (3-4% at 30 days) (JMIR, 2021)
- Live, structured programmes are associated with higher engagement than apps (KPI Depot)
A Bit About Me
I’ve spent over a decade working as a Teaching Assistant while building my practice as a Holistic Therapist, and during that time I’ve become deeply passionate about helping people to make self-care a priority; not just an afterthought.
In today’s world, we’re constantly in execution mode – always doing, rarely being. I create spaces where people can step back, recalibrate and reconnect with what matters beneath the constant noise.
I’ve seen firsthand how small interventions create significant impact. When I introduced breathwork and heart coherence techniques in the classroom, the results were striking – children became more focused and settled, but the benefits extended further – creating a measurably calmer environment that benefited the entire team. It demonstrated something crucial: calm, like stress, spreads.
As a mother of two teenagers, I’ve watched these techniques help them manage exam pressure with remarkable effectiveness. It reinforces what I observe consistently in my practice, that these aren’t abstract concepts – they’re evidence-based tools that deliver measurable results for individuals, teams and organisations alike.
“Nervous system resilience is the new mindset!”
Why Work With Me?
In today’s high-pressure work environment, stress doesn’t stay contained – it spreads. But science also proves that calm is contagious. When groups experience my sessions, something powerful happens, a synchronised state of relaxation that amplifies the benefits for everyone.
I bring a unique blend of expertise, trained in craniosacral therapy, reflexology and somatic practices, with a specialism in heart coherence and breathwork. I show up live every week for 20-minute guided sessions that deliver practical tools to build lasting nervous system resilience.
I have been told that missing even one session noticeably affects employees’ ability to focus and cope. These aren’t just feel-good moments – they translate into real improvements in productivity, attendance and workplace happiness.
Whether your team is in-office, remote or hybrid, I deliver sessions that fit seamlessly into your working day, even at people’s desks.
